What's up guys,
It has been a little while since I have sent out a
Newsletter. There have been a lot of changes taking place in my life and in
Kairos! It struck me today how much I missed writing you guys, giving you
updates, and sharing my heart. The new direction that we have taken at Kairos
has been somewhat of a learning experience for all of us, and we took the month
of June to get our systems in place, strategize how we could best meet your
needs, and pray for wisdom in this new adventure that we are on! I do miss
seeing your faces in the Kafe, but it’s a delight to get to talk to you one on
one when I’m making deliveries of Delicious Goodness. Remember the Kafe is
still available for events, and we have added a few to the weekly rotation that
are very fun. I’ve found that when you have food at a meeting it sure does make
folks just a little bit more happy! I hope that you guys will continue to enjoy
building relationships around food in the new way that we are doing it!
Our focus for the Month of July is Nurse’s Appreciation. In
some of our strategy meetings my Wife has asked us plenty of questions. In one
such meeting it struck me that the majority of our business is primarily in the
medical field. Doctor’s Offices, Hospitals, Etc. seem to be the most consistent
at needing meals Katered for their events. A few more questions then helped me
realize that the bulk of those orders are filtered through the Nurses. I just
want to say “Thank You Jesus for all the Nurses that love Kairos!” And for the
month of July every Nurse that refers Kairos Kafe for an Order will be entered
into a drawing. Three names will be chosen, and Kairos will deliver and set up
Dinner for your family! Or for the family of your choice! If any of you know any
Nurses please pass this information on! I have decided that I want to take one
group every month, and come up with a way to single you for awesomeness and
bring you delicious goodness! If you have any suggestions please send them my
way.
On another note I am changing my business philosophy from
focusing on what I do to focusing on what you guys need. I want to know how we
can help you with your organization or family or friends to make your
experience with Kairos as seamless and as awesome as possible. If you have any
thoughts please send them my way. I’ve heard it said that if an Aircraft
Carrier needs to make a 180-degree turn then it can’t just turn around and go
the other way. It takes it ten miles to be able to turn around because if they
turn it too fast then everything on top will flip off into the ocean. It has to
make a slow, deliberate turn to successfully get on a new course. In my mind
Kairos is in that place right now. We have taken the ship and made a huge
turnaround, but we can’t do it too fast or we will mess everything up. I hope
you guys will be patient with us and even participate in the process as we
endeavor to be everything we need to be. I appreciate each of you. Jeremiah
