Delicious Goodness... Hiring for the Season...Being Thankful No Matter What...

Granny's Poppyseed Chicken Kasserole
What's up guys,

I hope you guys are ready for an awesome week! I have decided to change my perspective about Mondays... instead of dreading and complaining I’ve decided to turn it around by focusing on new ways to create “Delicious Goodness”  You may be wondering what that means... At Kairos I have always tried to come up ways to produce it, and recently I tried explaining it... but it’s hard to put it into words... you’ll know it when it hits your taste buds and it is more of an experience than just a meal... We just finished putting the finishing touches on our new Katering Menu, and it is full of #deliciousgoodness! The fun part for you is that you can now place your order online. Check out our website http://www.kairoskafe.com

Looking to make a little extra cash this Holiday Season?? Kairos is now seeking part-time and/or full time people to fill our sales team. This can be something you do in your spare time or something you do all day. The choice is up to you! If you are interested or know of someone who is please e-mail my wife at Haleyannhobart@gmail.com and we would love to set up an interview!

This week I would also like to introduce you guys to a friend of mine. He is part of my business-networking group. His name is Sam Price. He actually started his own company, Assurance Financial Solutions, and he stands ready to educate and prepare people for retirement by offering competent advice and a servant’s mindset to those who entrust him with so high a responsibility. His motto is to always do what is in the best interest of the client for “a good reputation is more valuable than the most expensive perfume.”-Ecc. 7:1  I would recommend Sam to anyone of my friends or family. Find out more about him on his Facebook Page: https://www.facebook.com/AssuranceFinancial

This week I had a hard lesson on being thankful. Late Tuesday night my wife had to take me to the eyeball emergency room because my eye felt like it was popping out of my head and I couldn't see out of that eye. Turns out I scratched my cornea somehow… I'm still not really sure how it happened, but it did. The doctor told me that it the pain would get a lot worse, and he prescribed some drops and some ointment. The next day my right I was totally closed up, And I was in ferocious pain. My left I wouldn't stay open because my right eye was shut… I tried to drive the work but I figured that would be a disaster so I had to get a ride... Haha for three days! During this I had this overwhelming sense that Jesus was trying to show me something... But when you're in that kind of pain and you can't see and you can't do much else it was a little frustrating. I felt like he said to me that he wanted me to be thankful and grateful during this process. I told him if that was going to be possible I was going to need a lot of help.

It was very challenging but I took the challenge, and it was a really cool couple days. Hard to describe actually, But it makes me want to live my life that way. I wonder sometimes why I allow myself to get so miserable. The simple thing that I wanted to this process is that nine times out of ten it’s just because I'm not being thankful. My eye is healed up beautifully now, and for the first time in my life I am grateful to be able to see... Never thought of it that way before but after a few days of not being able to see it’s changed my perspective a bit. The next time I'm frustrated, aggravated, and any other negative condition in my attitude I hope that I'll remember this lesson and be thankful. No matter what's going on. I wonder if any of you are like me and maybe suffer from frustration, aggravation, or other stuff like that...? If so maybe this will encourage you to do a little soul-searching. Thank you guys for listening to my thoughts. Have a great week!! God Bless You! Thank You for Supporting Kairos!

P.S. If these newsletters encourage you, I have started a Facebook Page devoted to encouraging folks to share their stories. Many of you have asked if I have ever written down my story... I kicked off the page by telling it there. I’d love for you to join us! https://www.facebook.com/ten38edge
