What's up guys,
I hope that all of you are doing well. I just wanted to give
a quick update about some of the new things that are happening at Kairos! The
Katering business has taken off well, but to be honest I miss seeing many of
your faces in the Kafe. I have had
several of you take advantage of the space and use it for events. This is
always fun for my staff and myself. The Kafe could be available the next time
you are planning a Breakfast or Lunch meeting, and as always it is filled with
Delicious Goodness. We can tailor make a Custom Kairos Menu for your next

The newest way that we are “building relationships around
food” is by hosting a Cooking Class that I am teaching myself. Our first one
was last Thursday and I had a blast. I told my Wife that if I could figure out
a way to just do the classes I would be a happy man! What's Cooking at Kairos?
Thursday Night from 6:00 - 7:30 come and join me and learn secrets to delicious
goodness that you can easily apply at home. The Cost is $20 per person. It
includes dinner, two themed cooking demonstrations, and the recipes to take
home. This month the theme is Rotisserie Chicken, and all the quick and easy
meals you can make using one of these birds. Reserve your seat by sending a

We started it at Kairos Kafe but I am open to suggestions if
any of you think it would be more accessible in other places. I have had the
thoughts of testing one out at The Gardendale Civic Center, or to any of your
areas. I would love your feedback!
The other thing we have in the works is coming up with a way
for you to enjoy Granny’s Rolls at home. I have had so much feedback from so
many of you who are missing them since we stopped serving Lunch. I am actually seeking
volunteers for a market study. I will give you a quart of the batter (makes a
dozen) if you would simply cook them at home with the directions. The only
thing I need from you guys is some feedback on how the experience went, and if
you had any problems. Shoot me an e-mail if this is something you may be
interested in.
The past year for me has been one that has been filled with
changes. If you would have told me a year ago some of the things I would be
doing right now I wouldn’t have believed you. Over the past 12 months I have
experienced huge failure and loss, as well as joyful anticipation in new
seasons of my life. This time last year I only briefly knew Haley Ann Hobart,
who is now Haley Jones. We recently found out that we are expecting a little
Jones in about 8 months! My heart is full and I stand amazed at the way that Jesus
always has the plan. I hope that each one of you knows that He has a perfect
plan for each one of your lives, no matter what the circumstances may look like
