Chicken Celebration...Pumpkin Soup...Doing the next right thing

The Kairos Burger Taco

The Pimento Cheeseburger

What's up guys

I hope your week is starting off well! We are having good times at Kairos, and people are loving the new buffet option for Lunch. This week is "Bring a Friend to Kairos Week!" Partially on me. The Coupon is buy one get one half off, and I really want people to know about the delicious goodness and speed of the new buffet! I hope you will take advantage of the Coupon and help us spread the word that Kairos Kafe in Birmingham is serving the best Lunch in the City with new options. Some of you have been confused about the Coupon. You can still print it out and bring it in. The only thing we are asking is that you help us with some marketing by "checking in" on your Facebook Page, or "tagging" us in a post, or even just mentioning your Lunch at Kairos Kafe. I hope to see many of you this week!

Delicious Goodness is what's happening in the kitchen. The Weather is beginning to cool off and for me that is the best time to be creative and come up with new and exciting offerings. The Special this week is named Kairos Chicken Celebration! Its a neat recipe I came up with last week that is filled with all the good stuff...Chicken, Bacon, Mushrooms, Onions, a Savory Cream Sauce... all served over Linguine. You will love this one. I've also added a Burger Taco with a "comeback sauce" because we are coming back stronger than ever... This is a unique meeting of two cultures that will explode into deliciousness when you bite into it! The Soup this week is Pumpkin Soup, I've had many of you asking for it, but I wanted to wait until the weather cooled down a bit. The Kairos Pimento Cheeseburger is also featured this week alongside Chicken Alfredo, Chicken Parmesan, and our near famous Greek Tacos! The Buffet is also a pleaser with several different options each day including a Kasserole, a Pasta, several Fresh Veggies, Fruit, and Salads.

This past week has been full of ups and downs for me. My main questions and thoughts about the closing of our Gardendale Location has been "What am I supposed to learn from this?" I've actually went from asking that simple question to reasoning it out and over-analyzing every detail and every little thing that went wrong. It's bad when I do that because it generally leads to confusion and hopelessness... and I know that is not a good place to be. I know that hindsight is 20/20 and I know that with time I will come to understand things in a new light, but for Today I just have to keep on going, and do the next right thing. This is easier said than done, but it has to happen when life throws us curveballs. Yesterday I was sitting with a friend who heard the words in the Scriptures "Do not be weary in doing good, for in due season you will reap a harvest"... this friend is going through some situations, and she said to me, through tears "When is that ever going to happen for me?" I was reminded of a story from Joyce Meyer that I shared with her. Joyce's trial lasted for over 15 years. Everytime she received a word of encouragement from someone or searched the scriptures she always got the same thing... Don't be weary... Keep doing good... for 15 years!! How frustrating. But look at Joyce Meyer now! She has impacted the whole world! I encouraged my friend that it was my firm belief that when we continue to go through all these hard times that it means Jesus is preparing us for something great... but in order for us to be ready to take the Destiny He has prepared for us He must first get a lot of junk out of us...

I believe that. I hope you do too! Thank you guys for Supporting Kairos! God Bless You! And Have a Wonderful Week!!
