What’s Up Guys,
This week has been pretty cool. The Kountry Buffet on Sunday is taking off and I am loving being able to do some down home Southern Cooking. For the Buffet this week I made my Granny’s Chicken and Dumplings. They are so good! When I was making them I could actually hear her talking to me... “Roll them out thin Son...nobody wants to eat a wet biscuit...” I feel closest to her when I am cooking. Today (Monday 08/06/2012) We will have them on Special in Birmingham and Gardendale!!! Come and get some! The Specials are incredible this week. The Sante Fe Chicken is one of my favorites, the Poppyseed Chicken Kasserole is off the chain, and the Pasta is Cheeseburger Baked Ziti. Full of delicious goodness!!! Ya’ll come see me!

Instead of sending out a coupon, we are asking that you “check in” on our Facebook page to get a free dessert, beverage, etc. each week. This will be a blessing to you guys and also help us in marketing by getting the word out about Kairos Kafe!
I’m continuing to post my 40 days of resolutions. I appreciate your feedback! You guys are a Blessing. We started a new group on Sunday nights at The Gardendale Location. It’s called “The Building at Kairos Kafe” and we would love to have you join us! 961 Main Street in Gardendale. It’s very laid back and casual. The mission is “building relationships around Jesus...”
40 days of resolutions. Day #8- I will be a man of Action. I will Act on what I believe. Faith is the starting point. But failing to act on what I believe is like being a huge plane with no fuel (I have a lot of potential but I'm not going anywhere)
Vision (Faith) with out Action is merely a Fantasy
Actions without Vision (Faith) is simply the passing of time.
Vision (Faith) accompanied by Action will change the World!
40 days of Resolutions. Day #9- I will ask for and receive the Wisdom of God. I won't try to reason and figure things out on my own. He has Wisdom for me. But I have to seek it out. I need Wisdom. "A Wise Man learns from others mistakes... A Smart Man learns from his own mistakes... A Fool learns from no one..." I'm tired of shooting for smart. Smart hurts most of the time. Jesus give me your Wisdom. James 1:5
40 days of resolutions. Day #10-
I will enjoy life no matter what is going on or no matter how grim the situations look. Nothing is ever perfect anyways. Instead of focusing on what's not right I will focus on all the good things that are right. Friends. Family. People that God has put into my life.
40 days of resolutions. Day #11- My life will reflect Truth. I will face the Truth even when it hurts. I will confront the lies that I believe, even deep in my soul, and I will trust the Spirit of Truth to lovingly guide me into all Truth. Thank You Jesus that your Grace makes it all possible.
40 days of Resolutions. Day #12 I will embrace the process of Change. Even when it sucks.
40 days of resolutions. Day #13- I will practice Gratitude. For everything and everybody and every situation. The good stuff and the difficult stuff. I will have a grateful heart.

40 days of resolutions. Day #14- I will Surrender my Will to Jesus everyday. Even when it's hard. I'm learning how futile it is to buck and try to get what I want. It's not about what I want, all my well laid plans and ideas. It's what You want Jesus. That's what I want.
