What’s Up Guys,

It has been another awesome week at Kairos Kafe! The Kountry Buffet in Gardendale kicked off and it seems that everyone loves it! I am amazed at the amount of Collard Greens and Butterbeans that we have went through this week. To be honest the buffet is kicking my butt, but I am having a great time making delicious goodness in a new and exciting way! I wouldn’t trade it for anything. I appreciate all of you who continue to make Kairos a success! We are thinking it’s time to add the Kountry Buffet to the Birmingham Location! It’s been great, and all the comments have been phenomenal. I hope to see you this week, In Birmingham and Gardendale!  The Specials will be posted on our Facebook page http://www.facebook.com/KairosKafe and on our website www.kairoskafe.com In addition to that we post each day’s buffet menu on our Facebook Page. I’m having fun with all this, but I am also open to suggestions so if you have any feel free to share!

I am over halfway done with my 40 days of resolutions. They have been both challenging and rewarding. I hope you guys are enjoying them, and I appreciate all the feedback I’m getting. Here are this week’s resolutions:

40 days of resolutions. Day #22- I will look for the good in people, and not the bad. I won't condemn people or look down on them. Even when I disagree with them.

40 days of resolutions. Day #23- I will not compare my path to other folks paths and think they have it easier. I won't be envious of others. I will focus on Jesus and be secure in His Plan for my life. It's always a good plan and everything has purpose.

40 days of resolutions. Day #24- I will use my words to build folks up. Not tear them down. Life and death are in the power of the tongue. I will use words that are kind, gentle, and soothing. Not harsh, hard, or abrasive.

40 days of resolutions. Day #25- I will rest one day a week. No matter what is going on or how busy I am.

40 days of resolutions. Day #26- I will not be afraid of failing. When I fall down I will get back up. I'm only a failure when I quit. When I don't get back up. I will always get back up. I will look for ways to keep going and do the next right thing. I will "Fail Forward" when I fail.

40 days of resolutions. Day #27- I will be a man of few words. I will learn how to be quiet and listen. To Jesus. To Others. To the circumstances going on around me. I won't be hasty with my words or opinions.

40 days of resolutions. Day #28- I will be Teachable at all times. It's easy to have humility and learn through hard times. It's not that easy when things are going great. During those times I will lay aside pride and learn through all seasons of my life.
