Poppyseed Chicken Kasserole....Cheesy Chicken Ziti...Dreams come true...

What's Up Guys,

This has been one of the most incredible weeks of my life! We opened the doors to the new Kairos Kafe in Gardendale at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday morning. The people started coming in, and we have been flooded ever since. I am completely overwhelmed with gratitude and so thankful for those of you who support Kairos in Birmingham and Kairos in Gardendale. Because of you guys and my wonderful Staff all of my wildest dreams are coming true! And if you know of anyone interested in employment we are hiring for the Gardendale Team. We need Cooks, Dishwashers, Prep Cooks, Expediters, Hosts, and Cashiers. Send me an e-mail (James@KairosKafe.com) and we will set up an interview. I believe Kairos is a great place to work, and I am also grateful that so many job opportunities are becoming available.

The Specials this week are sure to please. The Greek Tacos are on once again and have been a huge hit! I love the combination of spicy chicken covered with our cool Greek sauce. They really hit the spot! Granny’s Poppyseed Chicken Kasserole is always a winner and in my opinion it is a perfect definition of down home southern comfort food with the rich creamy sauce and the crunchy savory topping. Momma’s Cheesy Chicken Baked Ziti is the Pasta and our all time best seller. I love this dish that was created with my Mom in mind because although she didn’t cook a whole lot, when she did it was good and usually in a baked ziti form. The Veggie is Sautéed Broccoli and the Soup is cream of Potato. This week you can enjoy the delicious goodness of Kairos in two locations! Come and see us.

The last week has been a weird range of emotions. Every day at the new Kairos was amazing. Incredible. Outstanding. Exceedingly Abundantly Above my expectations. And then there was the fear of the unknown and the new things we are doing. I was sure there would be mistakes, but I would say that we did about 500% better than I ever thought we would have, or even should have, especially with the amount of people that we served.

I would say that the chief thing that I learned this week was gratitude for the awesome team that we have at Kairos Kafe. This week I have watched dreams come true but that would not have been possible without the people who are a part of the Kairos Staff, including the team at the Original Kairos Kafe in Birmingham who all worked double shifts this week to help us get trained and ready to rock and roll.

Thank You Jesus for making dreams come true. Jeremiah 29:11 don't play!

God Bless you. Thank You for supporting Kairos, and have a wonderful week!

James K Jones
