It has been a great week here at Kairos! It was truly a joy to see so many of you spending time with us over your Lunch Hour, and to be able to brings Kairos to those of you who take advantage of our Katering services...
The Special this week is a warm and hearty favorite, Cheesy Chicken Baked Ziti, a recipe I developed while messing around in the kitchen that has actually become one of our top sellers on the Katering menu... But, who can resist all that delicious goodness...3 cheeses...juicy grilled chicken...pasta...mmm...the ultimate comfort food, in my opinion!
I had a customer on the Facebook page ask for our Greek Style Tilapia this week, so that's our Fish Special...I absolutely love this recipe because it is both delicious and good for you...baked tilapia in a light vinairette with a little Feta for that creamy salty goodness and green onions to give it that finishing kick of deliciousness!
The Potato Soup was also requested by on of you so that will be the warm and hearty Soup for this week, and Angel Hair with Alfredo will be the Pasta for the week. I am excited about the dessert because it is a recipe I've been messing around with... after the success of The Luscious Lemon Cupcakes I have been trying to come up with one that uses the wonderful deliciousness of Lime and I think that I have one that you guys will enjoy: Kairos Luscious Lime Cupcakes. I talked to you guys a little last week about Kairos opening a 2nd location that would be able to support a Dinner Crowd. I have gotten an overwhelming response from a whole lot of you, and I thank you for your input!
It seems to me that the the voices for the Gardendale area outnumber all the other by about five to one...I've received some very encouraging support from those who live in that area...
Nothing is set in stone yet, but if you asked me it seems that we will be heading North to Gardendale for the second location. That doesn't mean that we won't have one South of town either...it just means we may need to go to Gardendale first... In any case, I am trusting God to lead us into the right direction...
And again, I welcome your input, insights, and ideas. I also welcome you to pray for me that God would flood me with his Wisdom, which is a beautiful thing...
