We have been getting rave reviews about the Thanksgiving Menu. Here are a few:

"WONDERFUL !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I had no complaints today. It was so nice!!!!!!!!!!!!! And our Vice President said it was the best we’ve had!! Everything was delicious!!!!!!!!!!!! You guys are the best!!!!!!! Thank you!!! Thank you!!! Thank you!!!!!!!!" Janet Etheridge- Alabama Power

"James I work with Janet Etheridge and let me tell you the dressing and squash casserole rocked….actually the entire meal was out of this world and I could have made myself sick in overindulgence of the yummy goodness! Thanks!" Amy N. Stephens

I know that I usually do a commentary on all our Specials that we have coming up, but for this week I think thats all I need. If you will recall, last week I talked about Janet Etheridge saying that every year she gets complaints that the Dressing is dry... I told her that if the dressing was dry then I would dress up in a Turkey suit and come apologize to all her co-workers... after their meal she said she was sad that she wouldn't get to see my Turkey suit!

Those kind of comments really make the hectic schedule and all the planning worth it because someone truly appreciates what we are doing, and that's what it's all about!

I have to be honest though. Yesterday I was really starting to feel overwhelmed with everything. I got to a point where I was able to go home and take a nap before coming back to work. I meant to just take a quick one, but when I woke up it was twelve hours later! I guess I needed the rest.

This morning I was reflecting on my attitude and how to keep it pleasant... I always seem to come back to this in my personal life... the root causes (for me) when I am frustrated usually always come back to Trust and Thanksgiving. Kind of a neat reflection for Thanksgiving week, huh?

I have learned to ask myself questions when I am frustrated... Am I trusting God to be in charge of my life? Am I thankful for what I already have? If the answer to either of these is no then I am generally highly frustrated. Sounds pretty simple, but it's always worked for me...

May we all be a people who will allow God to be in charge of our lives, and to live a life of Thankfulness and Gratitude before Him.

God Bless each of you and have a wonderful Thanksgiving Week!

James K Jones
