What's up Kairos Fans,
It has been an interesting week here at Kairos. It seems that everytime that I think I have things all figured out it's time to start learning a whole new set of things... I guess that's the way that life is, learning lessons...
The Specials this week are good to go! The Pork Chop Sandwich has gotten such rave reviews that I had to run it again...I love this sandwich that combines the delicious goodness of a boneless pork chop with our unique twist on slaw and a grilled green tomato that will melt in your mouth... man it is good!
The T.G.I.H. Special is a good one...a healthy salad topped with pan seared salmon smothered a honeymustard glaze...it's one of my favorite healthy choices.
Last weekend when I was in Phenix City I gave my cousin Lisa a cooking lesson. She wanted to learn how to make Kairos Broccoli Kasserole so we tackled that recipe...it was funny because she really doesn't get in the kitchen very often, but she's willing to do it if she gets to eat some Kairos food. It was so good that I decided on that for the Veggie this week.
I also got another recipe from my Aunt Barbara who has a famous recipe for Key Lime Cake. I've been trying to get this recipe from her for some time and she finally gave it up. I decided to do it as a Cupcake here at Kairos though, so let me know what you think about the Key Lime Cupcakes! I hope you enjoy them!
