It has been a great week here at Kairos Kafe. I can't believe that May is almost over... it's funny how time just seems to fly by when you're having fun and doing something that you love!
Speaking of things that I love, the Specials next week are some of the ones I love the most! If I weren't already here then reading these Specials would make me want to come several times next week... and with the free dessert coupon that is attached, it becomes even more tempting...especially since Branden and I came up with a new secret ingredient for our Chocolate-Chocolate Cake that makes it out of this world...
Cheeseburger Baked Ziti, a Kairos Original Creation... Ziti Pasta smothered in cheese sauce with ground beef, homemade hashbrowns, and bubbling over with even more cheese, and then topped with lettuce & diced tomatoes...mmm...
For those who like things a little more on the spicy side, the buffalo chicken soup is sure to please. Tender Chunks of Grilled Chicken, Red beans, Pinto beans, and Kidney beans swimming in a flavorful broth that is seasoned with just a touch of cayenne pepper sauce...topped with diced celery, blue cheese, and Kairos Kroutons... another delicious thing to ponder...
Then there is the Summer Symphony Salad... mixed greens, tomatoes, onions, juicy strawberries, savory feta cheese, roasted sunflower seeds for a nice crunch, cilantro, green onions, and our Signature Raspberry Vinaigrette to finish it off... this is truly one of the best salads I've ever tasted.
Then there is the fresh Salmon pan seared in a cayenne-honeymustard sauce...the sweetness of the honey contrasted by the heat of the cayenne gives off a perfect finishing touch for the scrumptious Salmon that I call a "Sweet-Heat"...
Well, you've got me started now, and I could go on all day about the delicious goodness of the food here at Kairos, the wonderful dining room staff headed up by the Lovely Ms. Lenora, the kitchen staff headed up by the Honorable Ginger Kearney, or the Katering Krew headed up by the Faithful Mr. Jeremy... But I would write all day and you don't want that!

There are some new things on the horizon for Kairos, and I look forward to telling you about them as they progress. Let me just encourage you that God is FAITHFUL! If He has put something in your heart, don't ever give up on it...He will make His purposes happen in our lives at just the perfect time.
I have heard people say that God is on time and that He is never late. I have learned that to be true in my life. I have also learned that he is usually never early either. We just have to trust that He will show up! He will.
