A Busy week... and a goodbye to Mary...

What's Up Guys,
Well, it has been another remarkable week. Very Busy. And we are having alot of kinks to work out as the business continues to grow. These are good problems to have. No, these are Great problems to have!

The Chicken & Dressing this week has been one of the best selling Specials I have ever ran at Kairos. So, since you love it so much, I'm doing it again next week!! The Corn Kobbler has gotten so many rave reviews that I have dreamed up another savory Kobbler Dish, this time with Sweet Peas. The Soup is a variation on one that I read about in a Paula Deen Magazine, Turnip Green Soup with blackeyed peas and braised pork... hers had sausage in it, but you know I had to put my own twist on it!

I have a special offering on fruit this week that is called Grape Salad. I got this recipe from my Granny this past weekend and she is certain that you guys are gonna love it... The Pasta is a Wonderful Tasting Sundried Tomato Alfredo that I dreamed up last weekend at the Dekalb County Farmers Market. I'm also doing a spin on the Dessert with a Blueberry Kobbler that is off the charts... we had it today at a going away party for one of our server's, Mary.

I'm going to end this e-mail with a letter from Mary, who we will all miss. I also encourage you to welcome Dorothy, who will start on Monday. Dorothy is a very good friend of mine that I love dearly. I know that all of you will also come to love her dearly as well.

I've heard it said that people come into your life for a reason... sometimes only for a season...Mary is one of those people that I have come to love like a member of my own family.

God Bless you and have a wonderful week!!

"It has been almost two years since I joined James and Kairos. What a wonderful experience it has been! The time has now come for me to make a change. I will no longer be working with the Kairos' team on a full time basis. I have decided to spend time with my 86 year old mother and go back to school.

The past couple of years have been remarkable for me. I have had the privilege of working with a great team who have not just been myco-workers, they are my friends. In addition, I have gotten to meet and know some awesome customers. I have enjoyed waking each day and coming in to work to be with my friends, my clients, my extended family.

I cannot thank any of you enough for the joy you have given me through my Kairos experience. I plan to help out at the restaurant from time to time so I am not saying good-bye, instead I will say, "See you later!".

Mary Ellis"
