What’s Up Guys,
Well, the Christmas Season is here, and I for one am a very happy fella! This has been the best few weeks of my life. This week we celebrated our Annual Anniversary/Christmas Party with the Kairos Team and we had a wonderful time. I always cook for them, and write a letter to each one telling them what they mean to me and how they have influenced both the direction of Kairos and my personal life. This year they returned the blessing by telling me how I have impacted their lives, and for me that was huge, and such a blessing to hear. I think sometimes we forget the power that our words have. I am thankful to have the best team assembled on the planet for such a time as this...
Please keep Lenora, Our Dining Room Director, and her family in your prayers. Her Brother-in-Law passed away this week after a short illness. To me it seems double hard to lose a loved one around the Holidays, but we know he is in a much better place...
During this hectic time, it seems hard to remain focused on the things that matter. Our family and friends mean so much to us, but sometimes we get caught up in all the Holiday clutter that we don’t take the time to keep the main thing the main thing. It doesn’t matter to me this year that I don’t have thousands of dollars to spend on gifts... or vice versa... the thing I want for Christmas is a peaceful time spent with those that I love and to be thankful for all the many blessings that God has bestowed on us... I hope that will be your goal as well!
If you need some help with the cooking this year look no further. Our Christmas Menu follows and everything I’ve chosen this year will be easy to pop in the oven and come out 45 minutes later full of delicious goodness! My family and I will also be eating off this menu for Christmas Eve, and then I’ll let my Aunt’s show off their culinary skills on Christmas Day.
The Hams will be glazed with an awesome brown sugar glaze, the Chicken & Dressing is something that is one of my new favorites, and the Holiday Ham & Cheese Baked Ziti is off the charts! Pickup will be Available Wednesday December 23rd until 8:00 p.m. And again, you can purchase it with cooking directions and it’s a breeze.
You’ll also want to check out our coupon this week, Buy three ten dollar gift certificates and get one free. These make wonderful gifts.
God Bless all of you! May your Season be filled with the Peace & Joy that only Jesus can give us! Thanks so much for supporting Kairos and have a wonderful week!
